FENG SHUI DECORATING TIP

CAREER LUCK in the NORTH - A VERY lucky area for 2013, so be sure to add the right elements that will strengthen both your career and your good fortune. Focus on decorating your walls with metallic colours: white, silver, grey, gold and copper, images of Water and the colors blue, black and charcoal grey. Images of Horses are also excellent symbols to enhance your career luck and advancement opportunites in 2013. Avoid wood and wood colors of brown and green.

Illness from the Southwest -  In 2013, this is an unlucky area that should be addressed in order to avoid personal or family illness. Adding the feng shui cures simply neutralizes this negative energy. Decorating with Metal and metallic colors of silver, gold, grey and white are perfect. The shape of a circle actually adds to this cure. Also, water images and the colors that are associated with it; blue, black and charcoal grey will be very beneficial. However, please do avoid the bright colors of red, orange and yellow.

The West - This area has a challenging energy during 2013. In these cases, less is more. Focus only adding images of Water and colors that resemble water: blue, black and charcoal grey. Images of Elephants are useful here. All of these symbols will help to keep the negative energy down. Do not add metal or the metallic colors of grey, silver or white. Avoid the earthy symbols of ceramic vases and pottery as well.

LOVE & ROMANCE from the SOUTHEAST - What a wonderful year for failling in love, even if you're already in a relationship! This area governs love, romance, creativity and even educational endeavors (if you or a family member is a student). Real life or symbols of lush green plants and water images are excellent enhancers, along with the colors of blue, black, charcoal grey, brown and green. Do not place red colors or metallic colors of silver, grey, gold and white.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Just got the pictures that I ordered and they look incredible! Better than I thought they would to be honest, the frames are beautiful and solid, much more refined than I had thought they may be. I can't get over the quality of the picture either, the matting is just stunningly done. I will definitely be coming back to look for some other pieces. Thanks again!!

DESIGNER TIPS AND DECORATING IDEAS
How High Should I Hang Art? Everyone knows that your supposed to hang Art at eye level, but no one knows for sure what that level is. Here is an easy calculation: Measure approximately 58" from the floor to the MIDDLE of the artwork. That should be where your art is hung. To help you, have someone hold the artwork against the wall and stand back. You can adjust it up or down, if your family members are either very short or very tall. But only fractionally. If the artwork is hanging above a couch or piece of furniture, it will have to be approximately 6" away. Remember that in many of your rooms, you are sitting. This means that its okay for your art to be lower, rather than higher up on the wall. The most important aspect of hanging art - never look UP to see your art. If you've ever visited a museum, the artwork is always right in front of your nose. Or so it seems!
