The Group of Seven was a collective of Canadian landscape painters consisting of: Frankling The Group of Seven Artists came together around 1913, when several of the members were employees at a local Toronto design firm. They would meet to share their appreciation of art and discuss their ideas. The Group of Seven began travelling around to remote regions of Ontario, as a source of inspiration. Their artwork captured the tranquility, rich colour and beauty of the Canada's landscape.
